The gorgeous photos

The Store, Reggie's Records, in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Reggie's brother Terry is a gifted photographer. We appreciate his generosity, and the interesting interpretation he used on these images.

Approaching the entrance to Reggie's Records, heading south on 4th Street in Ponca City, just south of Grand Avenue.

The store gets rearranged as we attend auctions, make sales, etc. This lady might not be in the store when you visit, nor the radio, either.

The front window, a display and a view of the post office across the street.

Welcome! You can see the store at a glance as you enter, and spend days among the treasures.

Step off the sidewalk, and through the right hand door into Reggie's Records.
Minding the store

A couple of Ponca City mainstreet landmarks

Terry graced us with an expression of the Poncan Theatre - beautifully restored and an active part of Ponca City today, as well as a commemoration of the Cherokee Strip Land Rush, in front of the recently renovated City Hall.

This bronze statue commemorates “staking claim” to a bit of Oklahoma history.  The hero? A father and husband, wanting a bit of ground to raise a family.

The ticket booth and main entrance to the Ponca Theatre. Yes, that is a table saw, as remodeling of the ticket booth gets under way.
